Able Hands Interpreting Services was Co-founded by Michelle Brooks and Robin Rinkenbaugh in 2001.  As Sign Language interpreters out in the community, they had first hand experience, of the growing demand for quality Sign Language interpreters. Their goal was to develop a company that provides highly qualified, dependable, and professional Sign Language interpreters with a small business feel.  Based in the greater Kansas City area, you can find them working in both Kansas and Missouri.

Its The Law
Communication access is a civil right for all!  Providing Sign Language interpreters ensures communication access to people who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. As mandated by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) www.ada.gov, it is required that all agencies and places of public accommodations provide professional Sign Languages interpreters upon request. The ADA is a comprehensive anti-discriminatory law that extends to society and most aspects of daily living. Title III Section 36.303 requires places of public accommodations to be accessible to, and usable by, people with disabilities.
